Storm
Flip Flop shop: For the cheerleader who
has mastered the beginning tumbling skills required,
and is close to achieving a back handspring with a light
assisted spot. A standing back handspring and a round
off back handspring will also be taught.
Intermediate
Tumbling: For a student has a round off
back handspring and a standing back handspring without
an assisted spot. In this class they work towards multiple
back handsprings and are learning the proper technique
for a back tuck.
Advanced
Tumbling: For someone who has a back
handspring back tuck without an assisted spot and is
learning how to do a standing back tuck. Back handspring
layouts are introduced at this level, and if a student
has mastered the layout they will be introduced to a
back handspring full (a layout with a twisting rotation).
Twist
Class (Invitation Only): For
someone who is working on a back handspring full with
an assisted spot and is consistent through the process.
The main focus will be on students who already possess
the back handspring full and are working toward the double
full and other transitions from a full or double full.
Enrollment is very limited for this class.
Recreation Cheer: For
a student who has an interest in learning the basic principles
of competitive cheerleading, but does not have the experience.
Techniques taught are basic motion skills, jump skills and beginner/intermediate
stunt skills. New cheers and chants are taught as well as fun
and funky dances with custom-made music. Introduction to various
tumbling skills will also be taught in this class!
High
School/Middle School Cheer: For a school
team who wants that competitive edge. The team will learn
new skills: Mastering team jumps with the inverted look
and the unison needed for competition; beginning to the
most advanced tumbling; safe and proper stunting technique,
taking a single twist to a clean double twist in group
stunts, reloads, tic-tocks, and many more transitional
stunts, pyramid building, and team building.
